When Curiosity Happens

Regardless of everyday life's chores, it's important that we make time to stretch our creative muscles. For artist Ken Lum, it's experimenting with new tools and techniques in his works. For photographer Diana Mah, it's an exercise in low-light photography. For Eric Tuason, it's a chance to put his newly acquired video-editing skills to the test. And your's truly? I'm trying my hand at teaching some of the video editing stuff I've learned in the past two years; it turns out I know a thing or two. ;)

New Friends, New Opportunities

A couple summers back, I filmed a wedding for this awesome couple: Meagan and Davor. Even though I was just starting out then, they gave me the opportunity to do what I love doing. As it turns out, they like the way I do it too.

Recently, my "music video" caught Davor's attention and he contacted me regarding a project. Davor works with musicians all the time, and thought it would be cool to get some video done for Wren Kelly. She's a talented 15-year-old who was on YTV's The Next Star. Davor flew her in from Halifax to do some recording.

Although we didn't have time to shoot a music video in the week she was here (she recorded at least a handful of songs!), we did shoot some behind-the-scenes to share with her fans. Stay tuned for that video!
